Priest - Rev. Peter Swarr
Peter was born in Biddeford and is proud to call Maine his home again after serving as Rector at St. Mark's in East Longmeadow, MA for the past 15 years. He grew up attending Maine Diocesan Youth events which meant he slept on the floors of Trinity as a teenager.
He got his B.A. from Wheaton College and then continued his education at Virginia Theological Seminary, where he received his M.Div. Degree. He is passionate about the Way of Jesus which leads us to unexpected places and new ways of loving and growing.
Peter is married to Angela, a kindergarten teacher and Deering High graduate. He is also blessed to be the father of two wonderful children, Lucy and Eli. He loves the beauty of Maine, enjoys biking the Greenbelt in SoPo, and is a lifelong Red Sox fan.
